Like many composers/performers/everyone, things have gone quite virtual this year. I've been lucky enough to have a few remote performances, both of my Animated Scores, and as one half of The Rebel Scum live-coding duo [with Shawn Lawson].

As The Rebel Scum, Shawn and I performed Escape from New York at the Network Music Festival's TOPLAP MX VR Algorave in July, The Wonderverse Algorave in June, in the Equinox Stream in March, and in February, at the 5th ICLC and the TOPLAP 15 algo-stream.

The Williams College Percussion Ensemble, led by Matthew Gold, performed Study no. 38 over Zoom in May. I've worked with Matthew and his ensemble several times over the years, and although this is our first time working virtually, the particulars of Study no. 38 worked well, and the performers did an excellent job.

In June, 5th House performed Study no. 6 in an online concert as part of the Fresh Inc. Festival 2020: Showcase Performance. You can check out the performance here.

In early October, Erica Wise performed Study no. 15b for Cello and Electronics. I believe this was the first performance of this work, and it was great being programmed alongside some old friends of mine, including Jesper Pedersen and David Kim-Boyle, as well as the organizer, Gil Dori.
