Very excited to release the newest album under the name Lines and Patterns. The tracks on 3.A were some of the earliest I made when starting this project and since that time (around January, 2020) I've moved toward creating shorter works. Still, I like these earlier experiments, and they represent a slightly-more ethereal side to the project.
The first track, Bees, is built around several recordings I made of a bumblebee colony convening on a bush out in front of my home. Thanks to their docile nature it was easy (and safe! wouldn't do this with wasps) to get up close and personal with my flash recorder. Take a listen below or click through for the rest of the album.
