Performance Instructions
For harp and percussion.
Play each event as it crosses the attack line.
The harp percussion line denotes a large can, or comparable, hit with a drumstick.
The harpist, in addition to playing percussion and occasionally the harp, speaks each letter/number as it crosses the attack line. Each letter/number should be spoken with force and intention. Harp events should be played sweetly.
The percussionist plays 3 triangles and 7 woodblocks of various sizes. The woodblocks are to be played with an aggressive quality, the triangles less so.
Duration: Approx. 5 minutes.
