Performance Instructions
For 10 wine glass performers
Each performer is assigned one of the notational aggregates, and must follow that aggregate throughout. When the rotating attack cursor reaches the red arc, begin rubbing your fingers along the top of the wine glass to produce a sustained tone. If there is not one, long red arc, but three short arcs, quickly rub your finger across the top of the wine glass perpindicularly to produce a short, high pitch. This should be done at the moment the attack cursor reaches each arc.
The tuning of the wine glasses should be determined collectively by the ensemble or ensemble director, whatever the case may be.
variation 1: take a sip from your wine glass occasionally.
