Performance Instructions
For 8 strings and/or winds.
Prior to performance, each player is assigned one of the 8 notation aggregates. Only one player should follow each aggregate.
Each aggregate features one attack cursor and a series of interconnected event nodes.
Each event node corresponds to a specific pitch class. Range is open.
When the attack cursor reaches an event node, begin sounding the corresponding pitch, and sustain that pitch until the attack cursor has reached next event node. If a small circle emerges at an event node, the player is to continue sustaining that event node's corresponding pitch.
Vibrato should be used sparingly.
Phrasing may be incorporated.
Dynamics: p to mf.
Duration: 10 minutes or more.
